Cromane’s Anne Marie Healy replied with two points, one from a free before Julie Cronin scored Fossa’s final point of the half to leave it Fossa 0-9 to Cromane 0-5 at the half time break.

Fossa started the second half in flying form and scores a goal from Anna O’Reilly and a point from Anna Clifford. Cromane responded and added points from Ann Marie Healy and Eimear Burke. Fossa’s wing forwards Orlagh Dineen and Anna Clifford were instrumental in many of their attacks, with Mollie Kelly and Shelly Clifford also going well.

Further efforts from McGlynn and Sheehan put Fossa 1-12 to 0-7 ahead. Cromane fought back once more and Hannah Joy scored a good goal which was added to with a Sinead O Neill point however, Fossa were in command however, and 3 goals on the bounce from Erica McGlynn (2) and Shelly Clifford put them out of sight.
