Caitríona from TG4 got in touch regarding the TG4 All Ireland Final on Sunday 2nd August in Croke Park, County Dublin
They are running a collaboration with parkrun Ireland this weekend – Saturday 25 July before the Finals as part of TG4’s Peil Gan Srian – Football Without Limits campaign. It’s open to all LGFA Club members.
On Saturday, 25 July, Park runners across Ireland will be encouraged to wear their county colours at their local parkrun, with the chance to win TG4 All-Ireland Final tickets, limited edition TG4 x LGFA O’Neills jerseys and other TG4 merchandise by sharing their photos on social media.
As Kerry will be represented in the Senior Final, they will be filming at Tralee parkrun that morning to capture some of the atmosphere and county pride. It’s open to everyone so a fantastic opportunity for your club members to win some amazing prizes.
The parkrun starts at 9:30 on Saturday 25th in Tralee.
They will be producing a short “as live” social piece to publish later that day, featuring a presenter introducing the activation, some interviews with Park runners in their county colours, and, if possible, they would love to include a quick line or two from a few LGFA ambassadors.
