The next round of the Tesco HomeGrown Ladies Football National League sees Kerry take on Laois on Sunday 2pm. The Blue & White of Castleisland Desmonds All Ireland winning Intermediate Champions & home of Kerry Captain Cait Lynch will welcome the blue & white of Laois. It is the first home game for the team & their management side. Hoping that a big Kerry support are out to cheer on the team. Kerry started the league campaign brightly with a good away win in Tyrone. They then came agonisingly close to a victory over Cork in Round 2 but saw their brilliant second half rally fall just short as Geraldine O’Flynn popped up with the winning score for the Rebellettes in the dying seconds of the game & we also hit the crossbar.

Kerry have shown that they are a resurgent force under Alan O’Neill and they will be determined to put up a strong showing against Laois in their first home game. Laois who suffered defeats to Galway and Mayo will be coming to Kerry to get some much needed points on the board. Their much improved form in the Mayo game will give them confidence coming down to Kerry. However with Kerry players wanting to make their mark they will be determined to put down a marker in this match and push themselves firmly into the reckoning for the knock out stages with a dominant performance this weekend.

A great game is in store & a warm welcome from the host club make this a must attend affair.

Venue: Castleisland 2pm.
