Final Round Tesco HomeGrown National League

Our senior ladies team are in action on Sunday in their final game of the Tesco HomeGrown National League. Monaghan provide the opposition as they travel to Castleisland, game is 2pm. Kerry put up a great battle in Mayo 2 weeks ago & came away with full points. Manager Alan O’Neill was happy with the performance, but more so the reaction of the players who after a disappointing under par performance against Galway weeks before bounced back very well. Kerry will be without the services of Louise Galvin who is away with Mini 7’s Irish rugby team.  However there is healthy competition for places on the team & we have a relatively clean bill of health. Both teams will be keen on getting full points in this game as semi final spaces & position on table is important. Monaghan are currently 3rd spot with Kerry 4th.  Dublin are also coming up the rear in 5th spot but they have a difficult tie against Cork so permutations difficult to predict. A great game is in store in Castleisland, the home of Captain Cait Lynch & also home to current All Ireland Ladies Intermediate Club Champions.
