Club Officer Training 12th February

A Chara,

As the new year is upon us and the work of preparing for another great season begins, I would like to remind you that now is the time to make sure that all your officers and administrators are trained and supported to enable them to carry out their roles within your club. To assist you in this, the LGFA is organising a number of Club officer Training Workshops across 11 venues as part of the volunteer support programme around the country in the coming months. The club officer training workshop will take place in your county on 12th February, in IT Tralee at 7.30pm. This workshop will be run in cooperation with the GAA and Camogie associations.

Key Features of the LGFA Club Officer Training Programme:
Practical and engaging learning style
Delivered by experienced and trained Facilitators
Respect for your previous knowledge and experience
Information Specific to each officer role

Key Benefits of Attending:
Better understanding of your specific role – Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar and PRO

You can attend if you:
Are a past, present or future officer within your club – specific workshops for club chairperson, secretary, treasurer, registrar and PRO

Each Workshop runs for approximately 2 hours and all attendees must register online before attending one of the workshops. Check out the link below to find out when and where the closest workshop to you is taking place and we would encourage all clubs to avail of this training as will only be organised once a year.
