Congratulations to Castleisland Desmonds who reached the Munster Intermediate Club Championship on Saturday 4th Oct. They defeated Stradbally Waterford in the semi/final. Despite missing some key players they possessed too much firepower for the Waterford outfit & ran out comfortable winners on a final score line 5-12 to 0-04. Scorers Jane lynch 0-1, Tina Mangan 0-2, Andrea Murphy 0-3, Stephanie Murphy 1-2, Leanne Mangan 2-2, Aine O’ Connor 1-1, Cait lynch 0-1, Melissa Holland 1-0 (penalty ). They now face the Clare Champions St Michaels Kilmihill, on Sunday 19^th October in the Munster Final, in Kilmallock Limerick at 4pm.
